How It Works
Signal boosters increase cell signal by collecting signals with a powerful antenna, delivering those signals to the booster, amplifying the cell signals so your devices receive them, and delivering your device's boosted signals back to the cell tower.
Receives
Signal
The booster reaches out to the cell tower to access voice, text and data signals while parked or in-motion.
Boosts
Signal
The booster receives the outside signal, amplifies it up to 32x and sends it to the inside antenna.
Transmits
Signal
The inside antenna broadcasts the boosted signal to devices inside the vehicle.

If you bought this at a Love's for your semi get OTR antenna
Bought it at a Love's and didn't work straight out of the box. The magnet antenna will not do anything in a semi. I went online and ordered the OTR antenna for this and it worked like a charm! I saw instant improvement on the first run. The only thing is, you have to really look for that sweet spot between the antennas and the module. I found mine and worked better than expected. Ran YouTube music and GPS along with my ELD from Tulsa Oklahoma to Greenwood Mississippi and didn't lose signal once! I even took some back roads.

Will be returning not what I expected
I use it for work out in west Texas , and hate it . I thought it would help with service and yes it does when it works . It's constantly blinking red I'm always turning it off turning it on . Why have it if I have to do that I mite as well fight with my phone instead of fighting/restarting two electronics
Usable Cell signal at last!
Product: Weboost 4G-M installed in a Class A coach. We have been on the road full-time just a little over a year now making videos and uploading to Youtube, face book, our web page so our internet in important, Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T provide the data connection we need. This summer we had to stop traveling for a few months at home base. Holding still in just one place for so long and wouldn't it figure, 1 to no bars with any carriers where we were, phone calls if they would even complete would drop, data was spotty to none. After almost 3 months of this I had enough, I studied the boosters on the market and the reviews before finally finding the 4G-M at a price we were happy with and it was on it's way. Days later our package arrived and I snatched it straight from the mail carriers hands and back to the RV and electing to do a temporary install (Never was the patient type) I connected the antennas, stuck the ducky antenna to a metal plate for a ground plane and literally threw it up onto the top of the RV, went inside and flicked the switch and was immediately rewarded with green lights on the weboost. grabbed my phone, network signal strength....-124db (that's bad) nope, no usable signal... (don't worry, it gets better, this is a 5 star review right?) as I moved closer to the interior candy bar antenna I watched for the numbers to drop but... -114db (bad again!) Restarted my phone in a last ditch effort and success!!!! -83db (That's great usable signal) All devices rocking signals from -73 to -85db now! Data speeds increased from +/- 1 mbps download and -1 mbps upload, we now have 20+ Down and 15+ up and many times higher. I see the bad reviews here and a few things I've noticed... (1) it won't make signal, need signal to boost! (2)The rubber ducky antenna needs a ground plane (google it) (3) Interior & exterior antenna need to be far enough apart they don't talk to each other (Oscillation) 5 stars from Dave & Karen, Cheers! I would not buy this again
I see very little improvement. If I am completely out of service it will extend it a ways but in marginal service I can turn it on and off with out 5 point difference on a signal meter.

Question: Will the drive help wifi signal on Verizon wireless 4G jetpack
Answer: Yes, it should be able to given that there's enough signal outside for the amplifier to amplify into the jetpack. If you're using a cradle unit, the jetpack has to be in the cradle at all times for it to work correctly. Please let us know if there's anything else we can assist with by calling our customer support at 866-294-1660 or our online support at [email protected] Thank you!

Question: Will they work in Canada
Answer: Thank you for your question! Yes! You may need to try and get one there since the US versions only work in the US, but you can get a variation of the model with an F at the end, like this: 470101F which is the Canadian version. I think Canadian Tire may have models available but also places like Tessco and Silk have them. I also think that Wilson Amplifiers may send to Canada as well. You may have to check that out. Please let us know if there's anything else we can assist with by calling our customer support at 866-294-1660 or our online support at [email protected] Thank you!

Question: How can I tell if My device is operating properly. I only see a gain of about -25dBm MAX at any location
Answer: Thank you for reaching out. Typically if you place your phone in test mode outside, and then inside near the internal antenna, and you see a difference in decibels the booster is working. The inside decibel reading should always move more toward 0 if the booster is boosting. We would like to work with you to see if the booster is working as it should, You can reach us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Or by phone at 866-294-1660.

Question: RE: 4G-M. Step 3 (install guide) says to mount the inside antenna "at least 18 inches but no more than 36 inches from where the cellular divide will be used." Why *at least* 18 inches? (my test showed stronger signal at 4 inches than 18 inches). Thx.
Answer: Thank you for your question. The distance requirements are FCC regulations to ensure safe and compliant cell phone use with our systems. The closer your phone gets to an antenna, the more change you risk electronic noise between the booster and your phone. For additional tips, please reach out to us here: http://support.weboost.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Question: Does it boost one way or two way? nly cell tower signal or also the phone Tx signal. If i use this in a vehicule that has none signal on the inside due metal cover will this work?
Answer: Thank you for reaching out. Our booster takes signal in from the outside antenna and boosts it, and then we do utilize the boost to send the signal back to the tower. It should work as long as the antenna is placed outside, where there is usable signal.

Question: Can I plugged in directly into the rotter and still use the inside intanna
Answer: Thank you for your question. We do not recommend plugging this booster directly into the router. The booster would likely cause noise to the router, and could damage it. You can however, place the internal antenna closer to the router. We do also have the Signal 4G, which is allowed to be attached directly to approved devices.
