Question: Installing 4G-X system in RV. Would like this larger type antenna up on roof or high on side (position so antenna projects above roof). Will this antenna work? What brackets needed?
Answer: The best antenna for the Drive 4G-X is the 301126- 4'' magnetic mount antenna that comes with the kit, for better data. The 311119 is compatible, but would not provide optimal 4G/LTE data coverage. This antenna is meant for a roof mount, which requires a hole to be drilled (5/8'') requiring no brackets.
